Vasant Sivaraman has joined Morepen Labs as the Vice
President Corporate Finance. He will be based at the Mumbai
office of Morepen Labs. Mr.Sivaraman brings with him over
15 years of rich experience in Corporate Finance amassed
over a successful career span with leading financial companies
like Credit Agricole Indosuez, Hong Kong Bank, American
Bank, Citibank etc. His last assignment was as Director
Finance with ING Barings.
At Morepen Labs, Mr.Sivaraman's key area of responsibility
will be reviewing, restructuring corporate finance and
simultaneously building the image of Morepen in the financial
community. The company's future regulatory requirements,
valuations, negotiations, acquisitions, JVs etc. would
also come under Mr.Sivaraman's purview.
Armed with an MBA in Finance from IIM Calcutta, Mr.Sivaraman
has been working as Financial Advisor on projects of strategic
importance. His expertise extends from Merchant Banking
services of raising debt & equity to participation
in identifying ideas and implementing schemes for business
alliances, divestitures etc. Mr. Sivaraman has contributed
significantly to managing corporate banking products with
very high volumes, introduction of processes and systems
to streamline delivery of trade finance programs. The
in-depth knowledge and involvement with investment banking
has further honed his core skills in understanding the
needs of and providing financial solutions to corporates.
